At IWN, we believe women need more than services. We need places to meet, people to know, opportunities to grow, and support when life becomes difficult.
Our work begins with connection.
Across Cornwall, we create spaces where women can meet, learn, move, create, share cultures, explore ideas and build relationships. Alongside this community, we offer practical one-to-one support, advocacy, opportunities for personal and professional development, and spaces where women's voices can influence change.
Whether you're looking for friendship, support, something new to try, or simply somewhere to start — there's more than one way to find your place at IWN.
Support & Advocacy
Sometimes you need community. Sometimes you need someone beside you while you work out what to do next.
Our Outreach Workers offer one-to-one support to women facing practical or personal difficulties. That might mean understanding your options, finding the right service, preparing for an appointment, navigating a complicated system, or advocating alongside you when your voice isn't being heard.
We won't make decisions for you. We'll listen, help you understand your options and work alongside you on what matters to you.
Connect & Belong
Sometimes what we need isn't a service. It's somewhere to go, something to look forward to, or people who begin to feel familiar.
Our community spaces bring women together through conversation, culture, creativity, movement, food, books, the outdoors and simply spending time together.
Some happen every week. Others travel around Cornwall or bring particular communities together. You don't need to already know someone, and you don't need a reason to come beyond wanting to be there.

IWN has always believed that stronger communities are built when people and organisations work together.
We work alongside community groups, charities, public services, universities, businesses and other organisations across Cornwall and beyond, bringing together different skills, resources, knowledge and perspectives.
For us, partnership is more than putting logos alongside each other. It can mean sharing spaces and expertise, developing projects together, opening up opportunities, reaching women who might otherwise be missed, or using our different positions to influence change.
We particularly value partnerships that are collaborative, equitable and rooted in what communities actually need.
