Black, Asian & Ethnically Diverse Women Social Group
This is a social group for Black, Asian, and ethnically diverse women. It is a safe space to build relationships, talk about shared experiences, and do something fun, nourishing and creative.
Some of our recent activities have included Arts & Crafts and yoga.

Women's Rambling Group
This is a women only walking group that meets on the last Sunday of every month. The locations and specifics of the walks change monthly, so keep an eye on our socials!

At our monthly Film Nights we show a wide range of thought-provoking films, which we follow up with a discussion about the issues raised.

International Women's Day &
Inspirational Woman of the Year Award
Every year, Inspiring Women Network ask you to nominate a woman for our Inspirational Woman of the Year Award. This award is about recognising and celebrating the amazing achievements of local women in their everyday life whether they:
• have achieved above and beyond whether in terms of success or overcoming adversity
• are actively involved and have made a difference to their community
• or who have helped improved the lives of others
Simply put, we are looking for a woman who is an inspiration to others.
So help us recognise and celebrate the remarkable women in our communities and nominate someone! All you have to do is tell us in no more than 500 words why your nominee deserves to be recognised. Don't forget to include both your names (nominator and nominee) and contact details so we can contact you.

Terms and Conditions
1. The competition is open to female Cornwall residents, aged 18 and over.
2. Committee members and staff of Inspiring Women Network cannot be nominated.
3. You may nominate more than one nominee. Nominations can be emailed to events@inspiringwomennetwork.co.uk.
4. Closing date for the receipt of all entries is 5pm Friday 20th February 2026.
5. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges and notified by Friday 27th February 2026.
6. The winner’s name will be publicly announced on but not limited to social media.
7. The winner is invited to attend our Gala to celebrate International Women’s Day in March 2025 which may be televised.
8. There will be no cash or other material prize.
9. Where an award is not accepted, the award will be given to the runner-up.
