As part of Refugee Week 2026, Inspiring Women Network is pleased to invite you to a special screening of the award-winning documentary A World Not Ours as part of our Film for Thought series.
Delivered in collaboration with Cornwall Refugee Resource Network (CRRN) and Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery, Film for Thought uses film as a starting point for reflection, learning and meaningful community conversation. Through powerful storytelling, we explore issues that shape our communities and our world, creating opportunities to listen, connect and deepen our understanding of different lived experiences.
Directed by Mahdi Fleifel, A World Not Ours (2014) is an intimate and often humorous portrait of three generations of Palestinian exile living in the Ein el-Helweh refugee camp in southern Lebanon.
