IWN Ramblers: Porthgwarra to Nanjizal Coastal Walk

Join the IWN Ramblers for a beautiful circular coastal walk from Porthgwarra to Nanjizal.

This may be a relatively short walk, but it certainly isn’t short on scenery. Expect dramatic cliffs, wide-open ocean views and the wild coastal landscape of West Cornwall.

The route follows the coast from Porthgwarra towards Nanjizal, with rolling ups and downs rather than one long climb. Along the way, we’ll pass sheer cliffs dropping towards the sea and occasional landmarks, including old navigation markers and a coastwatch station.

As always, our Ramblers walks are as much about spending time together as they are about the walking. We’ll take the route at a comfortable group pace, with opportunities to stop, enjoy the views and catch up along the way.
