About the event
In Celebration of Black History Month, we’re launching our “Still I Rise” Youth Empowerment Project designed to inspire and equip young people of colour with the skills, confidence, and resilience they need to thrive in today’s world.
Participants will take part in six sessions focused on providing the tools, knowledge, and support needed to navigate and address racial experiences. By participating, young people will develop the strength to stand tall against adversity and shape their futures with confidence.
First Session: Saturday 1st November
Venue: Malpas Road Community Centre
Time: 2PM-5PM
Who’s this for? Young people of colour aged 10-18, who are ready to step into their power, connect with their peers, and make a positive impact in their communities.
