IWN Aker Fassi – Traditional Moroccan Lip & Cheek Tint
A Timeless Beauty Tradition
Inspired by generations of Moroccan beauty rituals, our IWN Aker Fassi is a natural lip and cheek tint handcrafted from dried poppy petals and pomegranate rind.
Used by Moroccan women for centuries, Aker Fassi is known for its rich natural pigment and its softening, nourishing properties. Lightweight yet long-lasting, it creates a beautiful natural flush that can be built up for a deeper colour or softened for an everyday glow.
Each piece is unique, reflecting the natural variations in the poppy petals and pomegranate used to create it.
Crafted with Care
Aker Fassi is traditionally handcrafted using:
Dried poppy petals
Pomegranate rind
These natural ingredients have long been valued in Moroccan beauty traditions for their moisturising and skin-softening qualities.
With just a drop of water or oil, the pigment comes to life beautifully on the skin.
How to Use
Cheeks
Lightly dampen a brush or fingertip with water or oil, gently rub onto the terra cotta surface, and apply to the cheeks for a natural flush of colour.
Lips
Apply in the same way to the lips. For a softer finish, apply your favourite lip balm first.
