Papercutting is an ancient, accessible art form involving the intricate cutting of designs from a single sheet of paper using knives.
It has evolved globally, with unique, culturally distinct styles. In Chinese cultures, red paper is used with intricate, symbolic designs. Mexican families use tissue paper is used to create delicate, decorative banners. Polish and Ukrainian families use paper cuts to decorate their homes. To name a few.
