Día de los Muertos – Community Celebration

Join IWN’s Spanish-speaking community for a colourful afternoon celebrating Día de los Muertos – Day of the Dead.

Día de los Muertos is a Mexican tradition that brings families and communities together to remember and celebrate the lives of people who have died. Rather than being a day simply about loss, it is filled with colour, food, music, creativity and memories of the people we continue to carry with us.

For our community celebration, we’ll be bringing some of that spirit to Cornwall with an afternoon of crafts, music, dance and food, with opportunities to learn more about the traditions and meaning behind Día de los Muertos.
